Started in 1991 With One Lodge and a Clear Vision
Brothers Alex and Zeke Hayes founded H&H on a simple premise: build the dove hunting operation they'd want to hunt themselves. They started at La Porteñita, a historic 1930 estancia outside Córdoba, and never left. 35 years later: three lodges, one charter airline, a reputation built on returning guests.
Never sold, franchised, or handed to outside management: Alex and Zeke still run it. That continuity is why guests from 2001 still come back today.

Most outfitters book third-party fields. H&H plants its own: no-till sorghum, millet, and sunflower, grown exclusively to sustain Eared Dove populations year-round. Fields rotate and rest between sessions, so shooting stays just as strong in February as in June. 1,000-bird days aren't luck. They're the result of managing 20,000 acres for 35 years.
Every hunt is fully supported: a dedicated bird boy per hunter running the two-gun rotation, bilingual staff, gourmet meals, all-inclusive logistics from airport to field to dinner table. Nothing outsourced, nothing left to chance.
Three Lodges, 20,000 Acres & Our Own Charter Aviation
Today H&H operates three lodges across Córdoba, each with its own character: Guayascate, La Porteñita, and Escondido. Guayascate, the flagship, holds South America's only Beretta Three Trident rating. La Porteñita, the original property, sits on a working estancia 50 minutes from the airport. Escondido, run with the Badra family, is the region's leading pigeon hunting lodge.
H&H owns or controls over 20,000 acres of prime dove habitat across Córdoba, more than any other outfitter in the region. We also own Feeling Air, our charter airline (Cessna Grand Caravan EX, Cirrus SR-22, Pilatus PC-12), flying direct from Buenos Aires to the lodge. Land, lodges, guns, transport, and charter flights: all one operation.
